A dog in Carlsbad was euthanized after a skunk it attacked tested positive for rabies. The dog's owner threw the skunk in the dumpster but Animal Control pulled the skunk out and sent it in for testing.

The dog's owner threw the skunk in the dumpster but Animal Control pulled the skunk out and sent it in for testing.
After learning the animal had rabies, the dog was put to sleep.
