WT Lady Buffs on their way to a national championship

Posted: Updated:

Canyon, Texas - The Lady Buff's are a stones throw away from becoming national champions.

They will be playing Thursday in Cedar Rapids, Iowa in the quarterfinal round of the NCAA National Championship tournament. Their opponent will be Long Island University - Post.

This is the first time the Lady Buff's will have ever faced LIU., and head coach Jason Skoch didn't speak much on that this week, but rather his own team.

"I think we're just going to go in with a better mindset. They actually were like we're not satisfied. Last year we were satisfied winning regional's personal, and this year they want more. Regardless of the outcome, I actually feel better about our mental approach. so, I'm excited and I'm just happy for the players man," Skoch said.
