Annual Farm and Ranch Show takes over Amarillo Civic Center

Posted: Updated:

Amarillo, TX - The annual Farm and Ranch Show kicked off Tuesday at the Amarillo Civic Center.

The show runs through Thursday and features more than 500 exhibits. The exhibits range in variety but showcase the latest agricultural advancements and gadgets on the market.

"Events like this for the ag community, especially in Texas, are very important because it puts all of your needs in one place," said IDEAg representative Samantha Kaplan. "Farmers and ranchers can come out and it's a one-stop-shop basically. And they can hit up every single vendor and every single supplier that they need to see. They can do it here in one or two days."

There will also be educational classes throughout the week to discuss hot agricultural issues.
