Alicia Neaves is a producer and bilingual reporter for both NewsWest 9 and Telemundo 20 in Midland, Texas. 

Alicia began her college studies at the University of Evansville in Indiana where she double-majored in Communications and Spanish. She also studied at Harlaxton College in England, and El Centro de Lenguas Modernas in Granada, Spain.

Alicia's journalism career began at WUEV, the radio station at her university.  Her television career began in the Fall of 2010 when she worked in the sports department at News 25 in Henderson, Kentucky. Upon graduating college, she was hired in her hometown, San Antonio, as a Production Assistant at News 4 San Antonio. Subsequently, Alicia assumed the lead role in graphics for the prime time news, delivered daily web-based news updates, and developed her own web show called "Alicia's Savings".

Alicia loves to meet people and make new friends. She enjoys spending time with family and her dog "Lucy". She loves to read, shop and travel.

Alicia has one younger brother, Isaac, and her parents, Roland and Elsa Neaves, are her role models. She was born and raised in San Antonio, Texas and she aspires to earn an anchor position in a major market.

She continues the path to her dream by reporting for both NewsWest 9 and Telemundo 20 - reaching out to the community - giving them the most important news of the day.
