ODESSA - Three parking ordinances are set to go into effect in Odessa at the start of next year.
The ordinances will require any vehicles or boats parked in front of homes to be parked on paved surfaces.
Houses that do not have an alley or have one that is less than 16 feet wide will be the only exemptions to this rule.
Anyone who wants to add on to their parking will have to make sure the space is at least 9 feet by 18 feet.
The extra parking must also be made of four inches of concrete.
The ordinances also say that trailers and recreational vehicles have to be parked somewhere that does not block a public right of way.
