BREWSTER COUNTY - A man led deputies on a chase but they were unable to catch him.
In fact, authorities believe the man is in Mexico.
The chase happened back on Monday. We're told Brewster County Sheriff's Office Deputies chased a red Tahoe after the vehicle by-passed the U.S. Border Patrol Highway 118 checkpoint.
At first, Border Patrol Agents were chasing the Tahoe as it went north then Brewster County Deputies took over as the driver went back south.
A deputy was able to shoot out the vehicle's tires.
The SUV then ran off the road and the driver bailed out and took off into the pasture.
The driver still hasn't been found and authorities think he's in Mexico.
We're told the Tahoe is suspected of being used for drug and human trafficking.
