MARTIN COUNTY - The three people accused of ripping off an oil lease then leading deputies on a high speed chase remain behind bars.
24-year-old Joe Bush, 23-year-old Halena Sorell and 23-year-old Jordan Doucette have been charged with evading and organized criminal activity.
It all started on Tuesday when deputies were called out to an oil lease in reference to a burglary.
The trio then led deputies on a high speed chase with speeds reaching up to 100 miles per hour.
When the chase ended, the two men tried to run for it but were later caught.
Deputies believe these three could be behind the string of robberies in the county.
Everything from copper, tools and diesel have gone missing from several oil leases since October.
