A painting by a Marfa artist brought in a large amount of money at an auction in New York on Wednesday night.
Christopher Wool's work, called "Apocalypse Now," sold for more than $26 million at Christie's.
The painting features a quote from Francis Coppola's Film, "Sell The House, Sell The Car, Sell The Kids."
While the artist will not get any of that money, his reputation will be affected in a big way because that price tag is a record for wool.
Officials with Christie's said that the auction total on Wednesday night was also a record as they brought in more than $690 million.
