MIDLAND - A former Harlem Globetrotter is in Midland this week to motivate kids.

Adams says he grew up without a father.
Because of that, he wants to encourage kids and be a father-figure example to them.
"Well, we want to be an example to fathers to realize the power that fathers have and changing the lives of kids. And if you can tell a kid they're awesome, that they have value and they believe it, then the sky's the limit is what they can become," Adams said.
Adams will be in the tall city until Thursday.
