MIDLAND - An 18-wheeler burst into flames after being struck by a train on Sunday morning.

The accident happened around 7 a.m. on Highway 80 and Fairgrounds Road.

We're told the truck somehow got stuck on the tracks just as a train was approaching.

Luckily, the driver escaped without injuries before the truck burst into flames.
