Bulldogs Looking for Playoffs Behind New QB

The Midland High Bulldogs control their own playoff destiny with two games remaining. They are tied with Permian at 3-3 in district for the final playoff spot in District 2-5A, but MHS will grab the spot with wins to close out the year. The Bulldogs will face a stingy Odessa High squad this Friday. MHS found its new quarterback in former third stringer Ryan Goodrum who got an opportunity after Sam Grimes went out injured. Goodrum went on to break MHS records passing for 418 yards and 5 touchdowns.
