A former Permian High School teacher accused of having an inappropriate relationship with a student has been re-indicted.

44-year-old Robert Young has been charged with two additional felonies.

The initial indictment accuses young of engaging in sexual contact with a student.

The new indictment is accusing him of using the Internet and text messages to try and engage in sexual contact.

Young was accused of starting a relationship with an 18-year-old student back in 2010.

According to the report, Young would pick the girl up three times out of the week during late night hours and kiss and touch her inappropriately.

Young is set to go on trial next week.
