A Marfa man is in hot water for threatening the 83rd District Attorney and a Presidio Justice of the Peace.
Jesse Joaquin Parker is facing federal felony charges of threatening interstate communications.
Officials believe he made the threats toward the public officials because of his sister's recent death.
Melaney Parker Rayburn was killed by a train two months ago in what authorities said was a suicide.
But Parker insisted that his sister's death needed more attention.
Parker was scheduled to make an appearance in court on Friday.
