MIDLAND - A Navy seaman has made his way home to the Basin safe and sound.
23-year-old Martin Arevalo arrived at Midland International Airport on Friday afternoon.
The Sonar Technician was deployed overseas for six months with the USS Charlotte, a nuclear submarine.
He was in countries such as Singapore, Japan and Guam.
This is his first visit home in 11 months.
By the way, Martin is close to all of our hearts at NewsWest 9 as he used to be a photographer on staff.
