Odessa Smoker's Outlet Robbed, Suspect on the Run

ODESSA - Odessa Police are on the hunt for a man who robbed the Smoker's Outlet on North County Road West.

It happened Sunday evening at the location in the 2200 block of North County Road West. The first victim, a 23-year-old woman, told officers that the suspect entered the business, grabbed her and threw her down on the floor. She was later transported to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. 

The second victim ,a 49-year-old woman, told police that the suspect made threatening remarks and demanded money from the registers. The suspect then took an undisclosed about of money from the registers and took off on foot. The woman was not hurt. 

A witness reported seeing the suspect take off into the apartments directly behind the business.        

The suspect is described as a black man, around 6'4" tall, wearing dark clothes, a mask and a hat. The investigation is ongoing.
