ODESSA- If you haven't paid your traffic fines you might want to do it. Ector County currently has almost 19,000 outstanding warrants and counting, and the municipal court, Odessa Police and Crime stoppers are coming together to take care of business.

"Those individuals who have an abundance of tickets that they have not taken care of. The warrants are for six, seven, eight, nine tickets that they haven't taken care of or the dollar amount is really up there. We've got some people on the books that owe two and three and four thousand dollars" said Susan Rogers, with the Odessa Crime Stoppers.

Odessa high five is the new program. Each week it will showcase people who have outstanding warrants, but its not your typical criminal.

"It will feature individuals who are wanted on municipal court warrants which are typically class C misdemeanor type warrants. Speeding, traffic tickets, disorderly conduct, those kind of things" said Rogers.

So if you haven't paid your traffic fines you might see your name come across your screen.

"We'll give the media the top 5 for that week if they have photographs they're going to put the photographs on, they'll have names, date of births" said Rogers.

Odessa Police just have one warning, pay your ticket or pay the price.

"They will come arrest you at work, they will come arrest you, if we get information that you're dropping your kid off at daycare, they are going to arrest you wherever it is that you are." said Rogers.

NewsWest 9 will start featuring Odessa High Five next week.
