ODESSA - The man accused of killing a 90-year-old in a hit and run has been on the run this whole week. Now, he's turned himself in.
21-year-old Jonathan Scott turned himself in to police around 2 p.m. Friday afternoon.
He is currently being held at the Ector County Jail.
An arrest warrant was issued for Scott earlier this week for failure to stop and render aid.
Police believe Scott was the driver of a white Crown Victoria that hit 90-year-old Halbert Fanning on Monday.
Fanning was crossing the street in the 2300 block of Eighth Street.
He died at the scene.
His body has been sent to Tarrant County for an autopsy.
