HOBBS, N.M. - Police in Hobbs are continuing to investigate a body that was found in a freezer last month.
Police say back on September third, they were called out to an abandoned house in the 1400 block of east Dunnam after neighbors say there was something suspicious.
Officers say they found a rotting body inside a freezer.
It was so bad that they were not able to identify the corpse or even tell what gender it was.
The body was sent to Albuquerque for an autopsy.
Hobbs police hope to have more information once it's complete.
