Jeep rolls over in mall parking lot, four taken to hospital

Four people are in the hospital after a Jeep rolled over several times Saturday afternoon in parking lot at Westgate Mall.

Police say a Jeep was speeding through the parking lot near Sears when it rolled over, ejecting four of the five people inside. Those four, including the driver were taken to the hospital.

One of the four ejected is in critical condition. The fifth person was wearing a seatbelt and was reported to be uninjured.

Police say the driver admitted to having narcotics in his pocket at the time of the wreck.

Officials are still investigating but believe speed and narcotics are factors in the crash.
