HOBBS, N.M. - A Hobbs man is behind bars after shooting a woman and her boyfriend.
It all started when officers pulled over Priscilla Carrasco and Garrett Smith because they were traveling at a high rate of speed.
That's when officers found both had gunshot wounds.
Several independent reports suggested 23-year-old Clifton Eagans was the shooter.
Officers created a photo lineup of Eagans and five others.
Carrasco and Smith pointed Eagans out and said he was the shooter.
Eagans is facing charges of shooting at or from a motor vehicle, aggravated battery and in possession of firearm and destructive device.
