MIDLAND - The man who tried to run a Midland officer down after trying to stab someone in a bar parking lot early Sunday morning has been caught.
U.S. Marshal's arrested 28-year-old Antonio Carrasco on Monday afternoon at an attorney's office in downtown Midland.
He's facing multiple charges including assault of a public servant and evading arrest.
It all started just before 2 a.m. in the parking lot of Woofers and Tweeters in Midland.
Two off-duty officers tried to arrest Carrasco after he attempted to stab someone.
Instead, he drove towards one of them in his truck.
The cop fired several rounds at Carrasco who took off and led police in a high speed chase before they lost sight of him on Loop 250.
