Fatal wreck in southwest Amarillo

Amarillo, TX - Police say speed and alcohol are factors in a crash that has left one woman dead Wednesday morning.

The Amarillo Police Department responded to the 6700 of South Coulter at around 10:00 Tuesday night.

Officers say 27 year old Danielle Bentley was driving northbound on Coulter when she lost control of her vehicle, striking a curb.

Bentley was thrown from her vehicle as it rolled several times. She was pronounced dead at the scene and an autopsy has been ordered.
