ODESSA - Fall enrollment for the University of Texas of the Permian Basin reached a record high this year.
5,227 students are currently attending the University.
This is the first time enrollment has surpassed 5,000 students at UTPB.
Among the increases are a 47 percent jump in graduate studies and a 32 percent increase in engineering.
Some of the main factors to this growth are the school's expansion of their online programs and affordable tuition costs.
