MIDLAND/MARTIN COUNTY LINE - Huge flames sparked up on Monday evening near the Midland/Martin County line.
Several tanks caught fire when stormy weather rolled in.
The fire started around 6:40 p.m.
The Martin County Sheriff's Department says lightning is to blame for the fire and the tanks were salt water disposal tanks.
It took fire crews just under three hours to knock the flames out.
Scanner traffic reported that officials got the fire out just before 9:30 p.m.
No injuries were reported.
