The cause of a structure fire late Saturday night that caught two Amarillo homes on fire remains unknown.

Officials with the Amarillo Fire Department say these two homes on SW 13th Street both caught fire last night shortly after midnight.

Seven trucks and some 22 firefighters responded and had the blaze under control by about one o'clock Sunday morning.

No injuries were reported as a result of the fire but both homes suffered damage, one significantly more than the other.

Fire marshals were called out to investigate, but so far the cause hasn't been determined.
