Bonham Junior High Looking to Readjust Lunch Period Due to Having More Students
Staff Report NewsWest 9
ODESSA - Bonham Junior High is looking at re-adjusting their lunch period to cater to the massive student influx.
It's all because of an issue of long lunch lines and short lunch periods.
We've received reports from parents that kids are spending the entire lunch period waiting in line to buy a meal.
They were eventually told that lunch time was over and instructed to go back to class without eating lunch.
Bonham officials are looking at re-adjusting their lunch schedules by switching from a 30 minute period to a 35 minute period and possibly adding a 15 minute reading period to give kids coming in late more time to eat.
