ANDREWS - City workers in Andrews will have to undergo random drug tests soon.
Officials say the mandatory testing was proposed because of safety concerns.
Before the new policy was approved, the city had employees do the testing before being hired and when there was a probable cause for it.
The program does not start until next month.
City officials will have several meetings with workers to go over the details about the new policy before it is implemented.
