ODESSA - More than two years later, a man has been sentenced for crashing into an Odessa house and killing the homeowner inside.

Frederick Gonzalez pled guilty to manslaughter and aggravated assault.

He's been sentenced to 10 years' probation and will have to pay $20,000 in restitution.

As part of his probation, he'll also have to spend 120 days in jail.

Police say Gonzalez was speeding when he drove through a field then went crashing through the home on Boulder back in December of 2010.

He killed 72-year-old James Paysinger and severely injured Paysinger's wife, Melba.

Melba was present at his sentencing along with her family.

She requested that sentence.
