Muleshoe teacher indicted on sexual contact with student

A former Muleshoe High School teacher has been indicted after she was accused of having sexual contact with a 14-year-old student. 

A Bailey County Grand Jury has indicted 25-year-old Morgan Shea Marricle. The high school english teacher is charged with having an improper relationship between an educator and student.

If convicted of the second-degree felony, she could receive from two to 20 years in prison.

She has since resigned from her teaching position but says she is not guilty of wrongdoing.

She currently remains free on bond.

    30-year-old Aaron Hughes is a driver and paramedic with the Midland Fire Department. He was recently diagnosed with cancer. Aaron tells NewsWest 9 that he had an ulcer on his tongue that wouldn't go away. The doctor performed a biopsy on it and a few days later Aaron found out he had carcinoma.
