Tom Green County Shooting Suspect Captured, Amber Alert Canceled

UPDATE - Forty-year-old Brian Berry has been charged with murder and is currently being held in the Andrews County Jail. 

Bond is set at $500,000.00. 

Berry is accused of shooting three people in Tom Green County Sunday evening and then leaving the scene with his two children, 7-year-old Kelsey Berry and 9-year-old Bryson Berry.

Around 11:00 p.m. Sunday evening, the Amber Alert was canceled when authorities from the Andrews Police Department and Texas Rangers located and arrested Berry.

Two of the shooting victims died. They are identified as 36-year-old Keri Berry of Wall, TX and 31-year-old Brandon Block of San Angelo, TX. The third victim, 26-year-old Susan Block, was airlifted to a hospital. Block is listed in critical condition.      



We have an update on an Amber Alert that was issued on Sunday evening in Tom Green County.

We're told that an Amber Alert for two children, Kelsey Berry and Bryson Berry has been canceled and the children are being returned.

Scanner traffic is reporting that the suspect, 40-year-old Brian Berry has been captured.


Local authorities are on alert for a shooting suspect wanted out of Tom Green County.

Officials are looking for 40-year-old Brian Barry.

According to the San Angelo Standard Times newspaper, Barry was involved in an incident that left two people dead in the city of Wall.

Barry took off with his two kids, ages seven and nine years old.

An amber alert has been issued for the kids.

Barry is believed to be driving a tan 2011 Dodge Ram pickup with Texas license plate AX9-6509.
