The Colorado River Municipal Water District is taking proposals for new water sources.
It's all to make sure there's enough for the growing needs in West Texas.
The water district will accept offers until mid-October.
After that, it will take about six months to evaluate the proposals.
Some offers they've looked at before include converting groundwater that was already used for irrigation.
