Man and woman jailed on child pornography charges

Posted: Updated:

Amarillo, TX - A man and woman are placed behind bars following an investigation into sex offenses involving a minor.

Amarillo police began an investigation earlier this year, in which they discovered a young female was the victim in a child pornography case.

After obtaining a search warrant and seizing records from several devices, APD zeroed in on two suspects.

28 year-old Jacob Chism was arrested Tuesday, and 26 year-old Michelle Chism turned herself in Thursday night, on 14 counts of promotion of child pornography.
