Man stabbed in the chest during argument

Amarillo, TX - A woman is placed behind bars after a domestic disturbance takes a violent turn.

Amarillo police say just after 9:00 Tuesday night in the 2600 of South Spring Street, officers found a man who had been stabbed in the chest.

Officers later learned the stabbing followed a domestic argument between the victim and 26 year-old Lauren Danielle Mandez, who was arrested and charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.

The male victim was treated for his injury, then taken on an outstanding unrelated arrest warrant.
