Yarnell, AZ - An out-of-control wildfire that has claimed the lives of 19 firefighters in Arizona continues to grow Monday.

It's being called one of the worst disasters in wildfire history.

Authorities believe lightning sparked the blaze on Friday.

Triple-digit heat and 45 mile-per-hour wind gusts have caused it to spread to around eight-thousand acres.

The team of firefighters were known as a "hot shot" crew and they were deployed to attack the fire line with tools like chainsaws and backpacks with heavy gear to build lines of protection.

The community of Yarnell remains evacuated, a population of around 700.

250 firefighters battled the blaze Sunday night but double the manpower is being brought in for Monday's effort.

Right now the fire is at zero-percent contained.
