MIDLAND COUNTY - A Hispanic woman is in custody following a high speed chase between several law enforcement agencies in two different counties.
The Martin County Sheriff's Office tells NewsWest 9, the chase started in Martin County.
During the chase, according to scanner traffic, speeds reached up to 140 miles per hour.
The chase eventually ended in Midland County at the intersection of East County Road 140 and Highway 349.
Officials tell NewsWest 9 that they shot out two tires on the vehicle.
The Hispanic woman will be charged with evading and DWI.
DPS Troopers, along with the Midland County Sheriff's Office, Martin County Sheriff's Office and Stanton Police were involved in the chase.
