ODESSA- It seemed harmless enough; a man meets a woman at a bar and they hit it off.

"A man is at Fast Eddies, he meets a woman in there. They get to knowing each other, drinking, whatever it is they're doing," Susan Rogers, Director of Odessa Crime Stoppers, said. "He goes to his ATM, puts his ATM card in and uses his pin number in order to withdraw cash."

The only difference here; this woman stole the man's bank card and his PIN, then went on a shopping spree on his dime.

"She starts racking up charge after charge. Everything from cash to taking it to a store and using it," Rogers said.

Surveillance video shows the crook at Wal-Mart, hanging out by the gift card section and walking through the store in a white hoodie and pajama pants.

Rogers told NewsWest 9, the sneaky swindler wasted no time swiping the card.

"Just over an hour, there's a couple thousand dollars worth of charges taken out on his card," she said.

Once the schemer is caught, Rogers said, the only thing she'll rack up is a felony charge.

"This is a state jail felony credit card abuse case," she said.

She also warns that it's much harder to get your money back when someone has your PIN.

"All they've got to do is get their hand on your debit card and at that point they become you, because they've got that number," she said.

The woman is described as a white female, about 5'4", in her 30's with blonde hair and blue eyes. She was driving a black Nissan Altima. If you recognize her or know where she could be, you're asked to call Odessa Crime Stoppers at 432-333-TIPS. You will remain anonymous. If your tip leads to her arrest, you could receive a reward.
