UPDATE: Abduction suspect located and in custody

Amarillo, TX - A woman and children believed to have been abducted have been found safe.

Wednesday morning Amarillo police learned that a woman had been forcibly taken from the Dollar General in the 2700 of 10th Avenue, and that two children were already in the suspect's car.

After a city-wide search police caught up with the suspect's vehicle and found the woman and children to be safe.

The suspect, 26 year-old Jonathan Anderson is being charged with aggravated kidnapping.

Amarillo, TX - Police are searching for a suspect who they believe has taken a woman and two children against their will.

Just before 10:00 Wednesday morning, Amarillo Police responded to a report that a woman had been forcibly taken from her workplace at the Dollar General store in the 2700 block of W 10th by her boyfriend, Jonathan Louis Anderson.

Police say two children were already in the car with Anderson when the incident occurred, and that one of them is not Anderson's biological child.

Officers have not been able to contact the victim of this abduction, and they are searching for the suspect, who was last seen driving a gold car.
