BIG SPRING - A Big Spring man died in an oilfield accident on Thursday morning.
The accident happened around 10:30 a.m. in the Athlon Yard, which is located at North Highway 87 and FM 2230.
When authorities got to the scene, they found that Earthco employees, who were hired by Athlon, were working on a heater treater.
That's when the treater rolled onto 59-year-old Juan Estrada-Duarte and pinned him against another treater.
