One Killed, Two Injured in Two Car Accident in Hobbs, N.M.

HOBBS, N.M. - An early morning accident in Hobbs killed one person and injured two others early Saturday morning.

The two car collision happened west of the intersection of West Sanger Street and North Tasker Street.

Hobbs police say 25 year-old Richard Heidelberg of Hobbs was found dead at the scene.

He was the driver of one of the cars involved.

His passenger, a 32-year-old woman, was transported to an area hospital with minor injuries.

The 19 year-old driver of the second vehicle was also transported to the hospital with a broken leg.

Police say the investigation into the accident is ongoing.
