Police make another arrest involving recent counterfeit cases

Police have made another arrest involving a recent counterfeit case in Amarillo.

Ruben Perez was arrested in Lubbock in connection with several instances of counterfeit currency over the last month.

Perez was one of several suspects arrested during the investigation, which involved the Amarillo police and the Secret Service.

Perez was booked into the Lubbock County Jail on charges of forgery and failure to identify.
