'Click It or Ticket' seatbelt campaign to begin Monday

Posted: Updated:

Starting Monday, drivers need to remember to "Click It, or Ticket".

The Texas Department of Transportation's "Click It or Ticket" seat belt awareness campaign starts back up again Monday, which means officers will be out in full force across the state looking for folks not buckled up, including passengers in the back seat.

If you're caught, you'll get a ticket plus face fines up to $200.

The campaign runs through June 2nd, including Memorial Day weekend.
