Odessa Woman Killed in Upton County Accident

An accident in Upton County over the weekend took the life of an Odessa woman. DPS officials tell NewsWest 9, 28-year-old Yaritza Carillo was driving on Highway 329 when she slammed into the back of a big rig hauling a trailer on Friday afternoon.

UPTON COUNTY - An accident in Upton County over the weekend took the life of an Odessa woman.

DPS officials tell NewsWest 9, 28-year-old Yaritza Carillo was driving on Highway 329 when she slammed into the back of a big rig hauling a trailer on Friday afternoon.

We're told the truck as turning onto a lease road when the accident happened.

Carillo was taken to Medical Center Hospital but she passed away a few hours later.
