Officials at Howard College and Angelo State University are teaming up in an effort to boost enrollment at both campuses.
The proposal allows any student that was denied admission to Angelo State University to enroll in classes at Howard College.
If they reapply to Angelo State, they can still utilize support services at both schools.
Students can used both schools to coordinate a degree plan.
The idea was given the green light by Howard Trustees on Wednesday but it still needs approval from the trustees at Angelo State before it can be put into effect.
