Homer's Backyard Ball helping more charities

Amarillo, TX - Homer's Backyard Ball has helped hundreds of area children and now they've extending their services to help hundreds more.

The musical festival is Saturday from 11:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m. on the acreage at I40 and Whitaker in Amarillo.

It's located right next to Splash Waterpark. 

Cook teams will be providing free barbecue from 3:00 to 5:00 in the evening.

Several bands will be performing throughout the day, with the headliner being Cooder Graw.

In the past, proceeds have gone to the Make-A-Wish Foundation of North Texas but this is the first year Homer's will also be donating to the Khiva Shrine of Amarillo and other local children's charities.

Tickets are still available for $25 in advance and $30 at the gate.
