HOBBS, N.M. - A trial date has been set for a Hobbs man who is accused of murder.
36-year-old Alejandro Castaneda will be in court sometime next month.
He's accused of killing Jorge Morales back in May of 2011.
Morales' body was found at his home by coworkers.
He had been shot and there didn't appear to be any kind of struggle.
Castaneda claims the shooting was in self-defense saying that Morales had threatened to kill him.
Police say he and three other men went to the victim's home where he shot the man.
