Another pipe bomb found near the Clovis landfill

Clovis, NM - Another pipe bomb has been found near the Clovis city landfill.

Clovis Police Department says this latest device was found around 8:00 Tuesday morning in the 2800 block of East Brady Avenue, which is right next to the landfill.

New Mexico State Police were able to dispose of the bomb without any injuries.

This marks the fifth time an explosive device has been found in Eastern New Mexico this year.

Two others were found near the landfill, a third in Roswell, and the fourth found at the Blue Hole Park in Santa Rosa.

The ATF is currently investigating all five incidents.
