MIDLAND - Midland Police are searching for a woman suspected of committing forgery last month.

The victim filed a forgery report, stating that the suspect withdrew money from the victim's credit union five times using the victim's name and account.   The first two withdrawals took place on April 6th within an hour of each other at the same credit union.  The last three were drawn from three different credit unions on April 12th. Each withdrawal was $3,000, equaling a total loss of $15,000.

The suspect is described as a Hispanic female in her early 20s with dark, shoulder-length hair.  She was wearing a blue shirt during the thefts as well as sunglasses to cover her face. She was driving a dark Nissan Sentra or Altima. The bank video shows that she had a laundry basket with pink clothing sitting in the front passenger seat. The video also shows her talking to a young child in the back seat.

Crime Stoppers has posted up to a $1,000 reward for anyone who has information leading to an arrest.
