MIDLAND - Authorities in Midland need your help tracking down thieves that are stealing truck tailgates.

The thefts started back in January and usually happen at night.

The criminals are targeting newer Chevy and Ford models, especially ones that have a rear-view camera.

One witness says they saw a six foot tall white man driving off in a red four door truck.

Officials are offering a $1,000 reward for information.
