ODESSA - The man that fooled Permian High School Football fans into thinking that he was a teenage basketball player will be released from prison this month.
Four years ago, 25-year-old Guerdwich Montimere tricked Permian High School fans and administrators into thinking that he was a 16-year-old student.
In reality, he was a 21-year-old man.
The basketball star was later convicted of sexual assault of a child after he slept with a 16-year-old girl.
He was also convicted of tampering with government records when he tried to change his identity to Jerry Joseph.
After serving two years, he'll be released from a Huntsville prison on May 13.
