BIG SPRING - Four people are behind bars after Big Spring Police were called out in reference to a kidnapping.
Police were called out to the 1500 block of Wood Street on Thursday morning.
When officers arrived at the home, the officers were advised by the resident that several subjects had entered his home without permission and kidnapped his 15-year-old son.
At one point during the kidnapping, one of the subjects pointed a gun at him and ordered him and his wife out of the room.
Then while police were at the home, the 15-year-old from the home walked up to the house after stating that he got away from them at a 7-11 located at 11th and Settles.
The 15-year-old gave a description of the vehicle that he was taken in and police responded to the vehicle owners address in the 1200 block of Sycamore.
As officers got to the address, a gray Honda passenger car was seen and police took the suspects into custody.
During the investigation of the kidnapping, officers later learned that the 15-year-old was accused of stealing property from the suspects residence and police say this may have been the motive for the kidnapping.
The suspects, 30-year-old Abilene Mojica, 28-year-old Sophia Marmolejo, 22-year-old Juan Diaz and 24-year-old Ricardo Ramirez, have been charged with Burglary of a habitation with intent to commit other felony and kidnapping.
All four of the suspects remain behind bars at the Howard County Detention Center.
